I Can('t)

The Obscure Store has a funny article about an enterprising BYU student and the t-shirt business he's taking a lot of heat for:

Critics of the t-shirt say that it sounds like the wearer wishes they could (sin), but can't because of their religion. Fans of the shirt (rightly?) say that the critics are far too easily offended and have no sense of humor. You can imagine the reaction if I were to sell t-shirts that said "I can't. I'm Baptist." Jerry Falwell would be ranting about it on television.

The shirt I'd really like to sell is "I can. I'm Presbyterian."

How about 'I won't--I'm Baptist'?

I think you mean, "I can, I'm predestined to."

Re: Jeep,

Better yet = "In that which pertaineth to sin, it behooveth us to refrain from that licentiousness and lascivious naughtiness which properly belongeth unto those 'abusers of themselves with mankind,' those vile 'Southern-Baptists,' so-called; and instead to follow after Godliness, in the way of peace, using only as a guide the blessed King James Bible, which is blessed forever world without end. Knowest thou not that we art Independent Baptists?"

(Although I suppose "thou wouldst need four t-shirts for this." LOL)

Holton, I think you mean, "I will, I'm predestined to."

Or, on another note, how about "Real Christians Drink Dark Beer"

"Anything in Moderation"--IM a Methodist. This would also work for the T shirts

"I may not do anything real good. but I dont do anything real bad either."--IM an Episcopalean. A good slogan for people of my faith.
