The edge is that place where those who are in desperate need of the gospel live.

And love can never lose its own.'
Yep, gonna end up on www.myprofessorsucks.com. I hereby predict it. If only I could run away with my little Jesus and my little Moses and have fun in airports. Oh, right. I did run away last week. How easily I forget, oh me of little brain.
Well, you just learn from the experience, and settle down with a book you might not want to read and get ready for next week.
Oh Lord, how long 'til we're really free
Let me tell you a beautiful story
I've been in your neighborhood
It's one of flame and glory
People turning evil into good
Take a look at your sons and your daughters
Take a look at the change within
They've tasted of living water
Someone shared their cup with them

But! Got the best new Bible today, it was a gift of a leather bound English Standard Version. I don't think I've ever had a new Bible this spiffy, but I'm sure it'll eventually be held together by duct tape, drenched with tears. That's the way it should be.
I know that all these gifts around me
Are sent from you on heaven's breath
And my eyes are filled to overflowing
As I'm watching all your love unfold
'Cause I can't contain the precious bounty
You've poured out on this tattered soul
For no greater treasure could there be
Under any lock and key
Than to be a beggar, fully free
Poor in paradise with thee
--Margaret Becker
1. Ruin
2. Repentance
3. Restoration
I know this is short and not as sweet as usual, but it is of necessity. Additional warning/disclaimer: I will not be blogging next week, due to leading Bowery Mission spring break group.

FROM R. S.'s Phoenix Nest, 1593, A description of love
Now what is love? I pray thee, tell.
It is that fountain and that well
Where pleasure and repentance dwell.
