Apparently, model/actress Paris Hilton is trying to halt further distribution of a homemade sex video of her and a past boyfriend. The couple was 19 when it was made.
To me, this story, Hilton herself, and this new sleazy Hollywood subculture is getting quite old.
Girlfriend, put on some clothes and learn a skill. Nobody owes you anything...You're twenty-two. Get a clue, and some self-respect.
It seems that the parents involved in this story could afford to give their children everything in the world they wanted...except attention and discipline.
Other than California's natural beauty and climate, stories like this are so smarmy and remind me that there is seldom anything in/coming out of California left to admire anymore.

Ya, it's full of wackos, I mean, absolute wackos all across the spectrum, but there's at least SOMETHING interesting to the diversity of it all. It's not as if it's any more godless than the average Southern state, it's just of a different kind. It's like, in the South everyone's a Christian, but only a few really believe, whereas in California, only some folks are Christians, but they believe (for the most part).

My complaint had more to do with the Hollywood culture cancer it has spawned. And it is most certainly NOT the promised land. That title goes to Detroit.
