i found out something today. i found out about it in a way that i probably shouldn't have. i might not should have even found out about it. it does concern me and i'm not sure if i should do anything about it. at first i was really nervous about it (and still am to a certain extent) but now i'm kinda sad about it. i guess it's because i don't know what to do.
congrats to laurel and joel on the birth of their daughter claire elise. i don't know them but it's always nice to see the kingdom expanding through children.
i went to the mall yesterday afternoon and got 4 things (2 shirts, a pair of shorts, and a pair of cropped linen pants) all for less than $45 (with tax)...i thought i did pretty good. and i love my shirts too. :)
the marriage ceremony of brad and adrienne bourgeois was beautiful. and i pray that the marriage is even more so. the reception was sooooo much fun. in fact i'm tempted to say that i had more fun there than at any of the confederate balls in monroe. it was a blast. i think the margaritas helped too :)
i'm beginning to agree with a friend of mine....cop cars look like sharks. they are out to get you!
graduation was last week. it went fine. my friend brad (who got married this past saturday) was the only graduate that graduated with a 4.0. he got a medal that had his name on the back. it was pretty nice. and the speaker was really cool. it was a chemistry professor from tech. i had him spring quarter of my sophmore year. it was really interesting. he did a couple of scientific demonstrations, like blowing up a hydrogen baloon, letting a genie come out of a bottle, and juggling bowling pins. it kept me interested (and awake). one of his last comments was that he was glad he had tenure :)
i was told this past weekend by a certain someone (cough, rick, cough, cough) that i haven't updated my blog in a while. hey! i've been busy!
ok i'm soooo tired of this slow web connection. ever since moving i had to switch to a dialup....it's not too bad but i'm still used to my parents cable connection. sorry...i think this is the end of my complaining
hmmm....i used to get frustrated with the people that only posted like once a week and here i am doing the same thing (or almost).
the end of this week was soooooo crazy...i didn't even have a whole lot of time to check my email. but...i'm moved! for the first time in my life i'm living outside my parents house. i just moved into an upstairs apartment above one of my mom's friends. i'm still in lil ole ruston but now i just need that j-o-b!
