to the purple and yellow pink and blue for a while.
[In an attempt to correct a problem on the purple and yellow, I lost the code. Maybe I could figure out the colors I had before.]
Thibodeaux was driving his car past Boudreaux's house and saw a Sign that read: "Boat For Sale". Thibodeaux marches up to Boudreaux's front porch and wraps hard on the door and Boudreaux opens it. Thibodeaux say, "Boudreaux! How long we ban frands?" Boudreaux say, "Well... All our lives Thibodeaux." Thibodeaux say, "Why don't you told me you gotta boat?" Boudreaux say, "I ant gotta boat!" Thibodeaux say, "Da' sign say 'BOAT FOR SALE'". Boudreaux say, "OH-NO Thibodeaux! See dat old '72 Frd pickem'up truck over-dare." Thibodeaux say, "Yas, I see dat old pickem'up truck." Boudreaux say, "See dat '76 Cheverloet Ce-dan." Thibodeaux say, "Yas, I see dat Ce-dan." Boudreaux say, "Well, dey boat for sale."
to Kristen and Mike on their engagement.
Hey guys, I tried to use your p-links but they didn't work. Just thought you might want to know.
I went today and got the keys to my new house. They'll be moving it into the park on Monday or Tuesday and I'll be slowing taking stuff over for the next week. YAY!
I was in Wal-Mart the other day (ok it was 3 weeks ago) and realized I was out of orange juice. Now, I like pulpy OJ and usually get the Country Style Minute Maid but on this particular day I saw in a end cap in the cold section was Simply Orange. It said it had high pulp (yay!) and was made not with concentrate and grove fresh, so I decided to try it. I really feel like I'm drinking an orange when I have some. So if you like pulp in your OJ, go see if you can find it.
For Memorial Days. ALMIGHTY God, our heavenly Father, in whose hands are the living and the dead; We give thee thanks for all those thy servants who have laid down their lives in the service of our country. Grant to them thy mercy and the light of thy presence, that the good work which thou hast begun in them may be perfected; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord. Amen.
For Our Country. ALMIGHTY God, who hast given us this good land for our heritage; We humbly beseech thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of thy favour and glad to do thy will. Bless our land with honourable industry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion; from pride and arrogancy, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitudes brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endue with the spirit of wisdom those to whom in thy Name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that, through obedience to thy law, we may show forth thy praise among the nations of the earth. In the time of prosperity, fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in thee to fail; all which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For the Church. O GRACIOUS Father, we humbly beseech thee for thy holy Catholic Church; that thou wouldest be pleased to fill it with all truth, in all peace. Where it is corrupt, purify it; where it is in error, direct it; where in any thing it is amiss, reform it. Where it is right, establish it; where it is in want, provide for it; where it is divided, reunite it; for the sake of him who died and rose again, and ever liveth to make intercession for us, Jesus Christ, thy Son, our Lord. Amen.
O LORD, from whom all good things do come; Grant to us thy humble servants, that by thy holy inspiration we may think those things that are good, and by thy merciful guiding may perform the same; through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Jesus shall reign where'er the sun
Does his successive journeys run;
His kingdom stretch from shore to shore,
Till moons shall wax and wane no more.
For him shall endless prayer be made,
And praises throng to crown his head;
His Name, like sweet perfume, shall rise
With ev'ry morning sacrifice.
People and realms of ev'ry tongue
Dwell on his love with sweetest song;
And infant voices shall proclaim
Their early blessings on his Name.
Blessings abound where'er he reigns;
The pris'ner leaps to lose his chains,
The weary find eternal rest,
And all the sons of want are blest.
Let ev'ry creature rise and bring
Peculiar honors to our King,
Angels descend with songs again,
And earth repeat the loud Amen.
The ball was a blast. I nearly broke my ankle while trying to catch myself from falling because I stepped on my skirt. Other than that, I had a good time.
• Amy (Aaron's wife and Christin's sis-in-law) had Sophie.
• I am now a ho (HomeOwner that is). I went yesterday and made a downpayment for a mobile home. I'll have to see if I can find a floor plan somewhere online, or I'll scan the one I have and post it here.
My mom calls me yesterday to say she's the mom of a bouncing 15-year-old. She and my step-dad got legal custody yesterday of his daughter. After a difficult court battle, Emily will be coming to live with them this summer. I'm excited because it's going to be a better enviornment for her, and I'm glad that I won't be living there. :-) One of the luxuries of being the baby of the family is that you don't have to deal with younger siblings. You can dish it out the to the older ones, but you can't take it from the younger.
O ALMIGHTY God, who alone canst order the unruly wills and affections of sinful men; Grant unto thy people, that they may love the thing which thou commandest, and desire that which thou dost promise; that so, among the sundry and manifold changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed, where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Let Thy blood in mercy poured, Let Thy gracious body broken, Be to me, O gracious Lord, Of Thy boundless love the token. Thou didst give Thyself for me, Now I give myself to Thee. Thou didst die that I might live; By the thorns that crowned Thy brow, Wilt Thou own the gift I bring? | And can it be that I should gain An interest in the Savior’s blood? Died He for me, who caused His pain— For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? ’Tis mystery all: th’Immortal dies: He left His Father’s throne above Long my imprisoned spirit lay, No condemnation now I dread; Words: Charles Wesley, Psalms and Hymns, 1738. |
I noticed about 20 mintues ago that it was trying to storm outside. I went to The Weather Channel Online to get view of the radar. Well, as it turns out, they only update their online radar about every twenty minutes, and it's anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes behind. So next time you need up-to the minute radar go to the National Weather Service. They update every 5 mintues, and there's only like a 2 mintue lag.
Marry when the year is new,
he'll be loving, kind and true.
When February birds do mate,
you wed nor dread your fate.
If you wed when March winds blow,
joy and sorrow both you'll know.
Marry in April if you can,
joy for maiden and for man.
Marry in the month of May,
you will romance the day.
Marry when June roses grow
and over land and sea you'll go.
Those who in July do wed
must labor for their daily bread.
Whoever wed in August be,
many a change is sure to see.
Marry in September's shine
so that your life is rich and fine.
If in October you do marry,
love will come but riches tarry.
If you wed in bleak November,
only joys will come, remember!
When December's snows fall fast,
marry and your love will last.
ALMIGHTY God, who showest to them that are in error the light of thy truth, to the intent that they may return into the way of righteousness; Grant unto all those who are admitted into the fellowship of Christ's Religion, that they may avoid those things that are contrary to their profession, and follow all such things as are agreeable to the same; through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne.
Hark! How the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee,
And hail Him as thy matchless King through all eternity.
Crown Him the Lord of peace, Whose power a scepter sways
From pole to pole, that wars may cease, and all be prayer and praise.
His reign shall know no end, and round His piercèd feet
Fair flowers of paradise extend their fragrance ever sweet.
Crown Him the Lord of love, behold His hands and side,
Those wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends his burning eye at mysteries so bright.
Crown Him the Lord of years, the Potentate of time,
Creator of the rolling spheres, ineffably sublime.
All hail, Redeemer, hail! For Thou has died for me;
Thy praise and glory shall not fail throughout eternity.

I've been waiting all week for this day (I've had a long week at work). Plus tonight I'm going with BJ and Josh to a families house in Shreveport to eat German food, drink German beer, and hear a lecture from BJ on the German's perspective of WW2.
ALMIGHTY God, who hast given thine only Son to be unto us both a sacrifice for sin, and also an ensample of godly life; Give us grace that we may always most thankfully receive that his inestimable benefit, and also daily endeavour ourselves to follow the blessed steps of his most holy life; through the same thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Hallelujah! Praise the Lord's name! Praise Him servants of the Lord,
You that in the Lord's house serve Him, in God's courtyard standing guard.
Praise the Lord! How good the Lord is! Sing His name--how sweet its tone!
For the Lord has chosen Jacob, Israel to be His own.
Well I know how great the Lord is; our Lord is above all gods.
For the Lord does what He pleases in all heav'n, earth, deeps and floods.
He it is Who lifts the vapors from the ends of earth and sea,
Who with lightnings prings the rain down, from His store the wind sets free,
Who slew all of Egypt's firstborn, on you, Egypt, wonders sent.
Signs to Paraoh and his servants, whoo killed kings, their kingdoms rent--
Mighty Sihon, Og of Bashan--then the kings of Canaan fell!
God their land gave to His people, willed it all to Israel.
Do you remember when you're young and you sleep as late as possible whenever possible and think your parents are crazy for getting up so early on Saturdays? I guess my body is so used to getting up early for work that now I have to force myself to sleep past 7:30 or 8. I was up at like 7:15 today and don't even feel refreshed. Maybe I'll take a nap this afternoon :)
