What would happen if you combined the movie Crash and Benchwarmers?

I think you'd have Napoleon saying, "Gosh you're so freakin racist!"

The wife and I enjoyed one of our last free weekends of no children. We're looking forward to the bundle of joy but we realize our lives will forever be changed and going out will require a friend or babysitter to watch the child. So Friday night in the fear of the monster storm that never even came close to Chattanooga we stayed in and watched Crash. I really liked the movie and thought it was an interesting look at racial relationships and interaction in California. Its interesting to see a movie where there is no real protagonist and the movie doesn't look at racism like American History X did. Crash is almost more realistic and relatable dealing with people's fear of other people. It was hard to follow at times, the story jumps around a lot which is fine but sometimes i think contenuity is lost with the jumps made. It was hard to figure out what Don Cheadle's character was doing... i figured it out but was sort of unclear for a few minutes.

Then saturday we went and saw Benchwarmers and went out for dinner. Benchwarmers was pretty stinking hilarious if you're in the mood for nose picking, Napoleon talking, wedgy humor. I think its hilarious that they take Napoleon out of the Napoleon movie and put him in a new context... it was a great cut and paste job. I mean it was so stupid it was funny kind of thing. David Spade was of course david spade and Rob Shneider was just a regular joe. I like how they make all the ESPN guys the bad guys and also "in the closet" pretty much saying that all jocks are bullys because they're in the closet.

The best Napoleon (His name is clark in the movie) quote:
Spade: Clark stop picking your nose...
Clark: I'm not I'm just scratching it...
Spade: You're probably scratching your brain...
Clark: YEAH cause its so freakin HUGE!

Of course read that with the napoleon accent.

Then we went to TGIF... and you know what... I couldn't believe it was friday. We had a gift certificate there and thus free food was had.

Sunday we just chilled and read books and what not. I forgot to watch the masters which was disappointing. Other than that a good weekend of quiet relaxation... that will soon end.
