Freedom Fighters: game review

In an effort to kill time on a friday afternoon i will be writing about a video game. Feel free to not read this.

I borrowed freedom fighters from crabb dog and started playing it. So far I really enjoy it as it is super easy, has guns, and has communists as the bad guys. Basically its one of those games where the US screws up the cold war and communist take over the world, those are always fun. So the COmmies invade the US and you're this humble plumber in NY and are recruited by the resistence movement and basically go around hoisting the US flag over all of NY.

You also command several resistence fighters as their leader. Its pretty simplistic with only four commands but with simplicity comes fun.

The best 3rd person strategy game i felt like was the original hidden and dangerous which had you control a squad of 4 guys in WW2. It was insanely hard but very fun, except when glitches reared their ugly head in the game which was often. I remember exposing one glitch in a level where you have to drive through a german controlled sector. I had quick saved at the wrong point and got stuck in an area where I was basically getting shelled by the germans. I took my car off road and basically found a hole in the game that allowed me to cheat and make it to the finish line.

Anyway freedom fighters so far is good, and it runs on my computer which is always a plus.
