The Holtonian

It always strikes me how comments can easily get away from the body of the post. One only has to look at the past 10 comments, ignore trimmiers, and see that most of the people who comment on this blog don't seem to be reading the post. Its like a game of telephone where people just go off the previous comment.

Another blog thing i noticed I researched crye leike to just take a look at the housing market in chatt, bored at work and all. I of course spelled it wrong "Crei Leike" and what are the first three sites that show up...> www.chattablogs.com/holtonian.

Holton house is good. The trip to Savannah was a blast and a good time to get away from everything that is on our shoulders in chatt... granted they were still there when we came back.

We went to Lady' and Sons's restaurant on Sunday before we left. I had no clue what this was but apparently she's famous, the lady, for her cooking show on the food network or something. So we went and it was a good 3 hour wait for food that my wife can make. I mean it was all southern food, which when you're married to a southern woman is not that special. Fried Chicken, roast beef, mashed taters, real mac n cheese etc is all good but it was just like any other meal at the holton house. There corn bread was by far some of the best i've ever had though. IF you're in chatt you can get the same kind of food at southern star. I mean southern star is pretty compareable in my mind.

We're gearing up now for some flooring. Carpet in the baby's room and probably carpet in our's as well. We'd like hard wood but feel that our house is not ideal for more than one newborn so we can't see staying there beyond 5 years, thus making hard wood a lot of money for only 5 years. I'd also like to tackle the bathroom's floors but that might have to wait.
