So If yesterday's festivities in home improvement weren't enough... I awoke to find a giant puddle in my kitchen. My first reaction was, "Dumb dog." But I realized that the amount of water was too great for young copper. I realized the source of the water was the fridge. And as I went to the back of the fridge to check on my crappily installed copper tubing, I saw water coming out of the connection. SUPER! Nothing greater than having a flood in your kitchen on a sunday morning. So I shut off the water, and took some towels and dried it up and told the wife, "I'm out to Lowes, the kitchen flooded..." So i went to lowes about 9:30 AM and bought the plastic version of what I bought yesterday and went back home to fix my mistake. I got home and did it and fixed the problem. But I was so exhausted from my sickness and the home improvement disaster that I skipped church and stayed home. This seriously has been the home improvement weekend from hell. That and I'm still sick and grouchy too.
I made a dozen mistakes on this thing and just want to pretend it never happened. GUH!
