The wife and I had a bit of an argument/discussion. One of those discussions where there's an argument there but you don't really allow it to come to full fruition due to the desire of both parties not to fight. Basically we ate out a ton this past weekend, way more than we should've, and I went out twice without the wife which gave her some ammuntion to go, "You eat out to much!" Which is true, I admitted. Thursday night I went out with the strows to Pickel Barrel to celebrate Jesse's job. Friday at lunch I went to Pickel Barrel again with wifey cause I felt bad for going to PB without her the night before. Saturday we went out to China Moon before seeing dodgeball with the Utes. Then Sunday after a discussion/guilt trip in the car we went to Lupis for lunch. Then on monday I went out with my financial adviser type guy to Porkers but luckily he paid so to me that one doesn't count. Plus with the wife working a waitress job its like we always have cash so it never feels like we're spending money since it never finds its way into our bank account. Though we've turned over a new leaf, and are gonna pull the reigns (i'm not a horse guy) of the eating out. Right after i go to Qdoba for lunch today. One of the bosses is taking us there for lunch, which is funny cause they just had an office party there yesterday for a guy getting married. I can't stand Qdoba, i think its the worst excuse for mexicany food i've ever seen, but I will eat there for free. I've been there three times: first time was against my will and out of sheer disgust I didn't eat anything, second time: my meal was paid for by work and i had them make me the largest burrito ever, they couldn't even wrap it up. Today I'm getting another free meal so i my streak of never giving Qdoba a nickel is working like a charm. I'd so much rather go to Tortilla Factory (see the wifey!!) or La Altena, those are two mexican restaurants that are worth the money. The one out at the mall next to Olive Garden is good too, big burritos! But Cancun, makes you sick, Las Margaritas and Amigoes are good for drinks and quesadillas but their fajitas are just ok. Well work is calling. ADIOS

Posted by: Mac at June 24, 2004 09:09 AMcholtie, you are the sexiest of all the world's cholties...
I agree with you 'bout dodgeball. I guess I get stoked 'bout these movies expecting comic glory and instead get comic status quo, I mean, it had its moments, but they were too few. What they need to do is start taking the half dozen or so really good jokes they come up with every couple of years, hold on to them, then bust them out all at once in one big hilarious movie.
Yes, I can totally see what they were trying to pull with "fucking chuck norris" but it, well, didn't work.
Posted by: JosiahQ at June 24, 2004 10:38 AMYes they need to just pull an airplane where the jokes are just non stop, off the wall, puns, racial, and just all around hilarious. Airplane was great.
Posted by: holton at June 24, 2004 05:04 PMWow hey man I just got back from a month and a half of training and it sucked. The desert sucks. Thats all I can say. Hey you're not going to be around for July 4th? I was going to come up to Chattie, and have an ARMY good time! Oh well, I guess I'll spend it with some anonymous person. No, thats cool bro. You go. Have a good time. Its not like I wanted to see you and J or anything.
