The Passion the Book

I'm wrapping up reading a devotional called The Passion of Jesus Christ by John Piper. I got it at a church in atlanta, one of those freebie books they have as you walk out. It wasn't bad, though a little on the milkier side of things. The book isn't about the movie which the author explains in the preface, but more about the actual Passion of Christ, aka the biblical version. It was a good read, and it would be good to give to someone who had just come to know Christ or even perhaps a teenager or someone who didn't know too much. It seemed rather basic, which is good, its always good to go over the basics. Next book to pull out is another freebie i got from my church that's some sort of family devotional that is based off the confessions. Crabby read it in the car for a bit and said it was really good, so we'll see.
