TGIF... but there was no Erkel

Work was a bore on Friday, they gave the class a practice case to do on setting reserves on an insurance account that was supposed to take all day but i just didn't want it sitting over my head all afternoon so i busted it out by about 2:00. Then from about 2 to 3 i cleaned my desk and then there after sat and tried not to look too bored. After work i headed over to the Chattanooga Convention Center to check out the computer fair thats going on over there. I heard it advertised on the TV with cheap computer stuff. Unfortunately you have to pay to get in, which I was expecting but still I only had a half hour to kill before wifey got off work and 7$ for a half hour wasn't worth it. I want to go back today but I doubt I'll have the time. Plus I was thinking I could buy more stuff for my computer but my Dell is just getting to the point where I need to take her out back and put a bullet through her motherboard. She's just getting old and senial... much like me. Most of the time it won't turn off when I tell it to, its slower than it used to be, and some how it cusses me out.... stupid AI... i new I shouldn't have installed Skynet.

Today I plan on going to the see soccer game at Covenant today. They better win or I'll be mad, because I never go to games and today I'm going way out of my way to see this one.... I'm just kidding.
Oh... last night I went out with a buddy of mine from work and church, ladies he's single and successful, we went to the Foundry this yuppie bar across from Crei Leike on Broad in the Chattanoogan. It was pretty cool we played some pool and table shuffle board. I really suck at both so it wasn't much of a game. The only bar game I've ever showed any skill in is Botchie Ball. A bunch of the Italian bars up in St. Louey, which by the way has a large italian population that resides in the area of town known as the Hill, anyway these bars in St. Louey have some botchie courts that you can play while you slammered. I played with my brothers there once or twice or so. Its a good sport because its like shuffle board only not as difficult to play after a few beers because you're throwing this heavy ball instead dinky little pog like thing. Plus its like bowling only you don't have a gutter which is great because i hate gutters. So someone, who is Italian, needs to open up a good Italian restaurant and put some botchie ball courts in the back. I'd do it but i have zero italian blood in me, however I do have a lot of colesterol floating in my blood from all the italian restaurants i've eaten at.
My friend got this salad there and it made him sick so he went home and called it a night. Wifey was out trying to set a friend of hers up with a friend of hers from work, i had stayed away because the prescence of me would have made the evening more like a double date than a hang out and get to know you thing. So i headed to Greyfriars and read the latest Wired Magazine and waited for Wifey to get done playing match maker. I wanted to go see Underworld but it wasn't showing at the Bijou and they only had dumb retarded movies like Tuscan Sun, Two Headed Lions (something like that), Pirates of Lake Michigan, Once Upon a Time in Ft. Ogelthorpe, Regurgitated Woody Allen Movie That Puts a Young Teeny bopper star in the place of the role Woody Allen normally plays but due to the fact that he is so old they had to put Jason bopper Biggs in the role to appease the masses. Seriously I saw a preview for this movie and it looked like every other Woody Allen flick only with Jason Figgs playing Woody Allen's part. Jiggs is a neurotic guy who's paranoid about his girl leaving him and of the fact that he can't get any play... sounds like almost every Woody Allen Flick i"ve ever seen... for the record I've only seen two so.... don't get all huffy puffy any one who considers themself a self proclaimed guru of Woody.
So any who. I MUST RETURN TO DORKDOM FOR A FEW SENTENCES...
I saw a preview on TV for the Matrix Revolutions and almost cried it was so beautiful. I was two shades away from going and just waiting at the theater for the movie to come out... but then i realized i have a life now and need to work.
Well that about wraps this saturday morning edition of CHRIS"S BABBLE ON FIVE. (Thats a joke b/c there is a TV show called Babylon Five)

Jack Black and that other guy from Tenacious D aren't brothers afterall. Turns out they're just both fat.

I've purchased the movie about a boy. And, despite the redicule from my army buddies, have decided it is very good. Are we supposed to be posting comments about what you write? Or is it a free-for-all?
