Ok so that guy that was next to me in the library (See previous blog) turned out to be a crazy smelly homeless guy. You may be saying "Chris How do you know that the guy was A. homeless B. He smelled C. he was crazy?? Well i think he was homeless because he was wearing pants that came to his shins and a shirt that was ten times his size. I think he smelled because I almost gagged when he walked by. And I think he was crazy because he came to the computer next to me and just started hitting the keyboard and clicking on everything on the screen. He threw the first punch after he saw me type "i think he stinks" but I took him out with the one two combo.
A brief talk about video games.... Jedi Knight Academy is pretty sweet. I just got promoted to Jedi Knight after having to fight my former friend who turned to to the darkside. I got upgraded to the double bladed light saber much like Darth Maul. The plot is kind of hokey a character from Jedi Knight 2 is back stealing the force from places in the galaxy that Jedi's occupied. Like this last level was Darth Vader's former crib, pad, home. Where the bad guys are stealing the force energy in the pad and you and Kyle Katarn, hero from Jedi Knight 1 & 2 go in sabers blazing and kick some major dark side bootie. Ok enough of that...
Moving on to my other game.... Spearhead Medal of Honor i've tried to not play it much since it only has three levels so I played the first level--parachuting behind enemy lines on D Day and teaming up with the british airmen to kick some nazi bootie. But i stopped playing to savor the game a little. No more game talk I promise....

We had the strows and Mac over for dinner it was fun and a good time. This weekend we're making a trip hopefully to one of Chaddanooga's most greatest Chinese food restaurants YUM YUMS!! We're 'supposed to meet up with the Lunger's aka Lud Butz I also hope to make to the Covenant soccer game this saturday as i want to cheer them on while i still know some of the players on the team. We'll see. Wifey's fixing up a friend of hers with a co-worker at work should be pretty interesting.
Words of Wisdom from Chris:

You can't always get what you want...... unless its on sale or have a credit card

I 'know' that guy too... I think. He walks fast all over Chattanooga, always seems like he's in a hurry to get somewhere. I see him all the time, and he's around the library a lot. Sometimes he wears a glove on just one of his hands. You seriously can smell him from 20 feet away. He doesn't seem to bother people for money ever. Not sure what he does, besides walk and smell.

I know I have been discouraging you from many restaurant's lately. Be cautious at Yum Yum's. There really have been rat sitings, and wierd sick feelings after folks have been there. I myself had a good experience the one time I went there my freshman year. For more information talk to Aaron Mesh and Lang Martin. It will certianly be an experience maybe even a necessary one to add the list of experince you have to have while living in Chattavegas.

Holton, that homeless guy was me. Don't you recognize your old housemates when you see them?

Yum-Yums... I have to agree, it *IS* one of the best chinese food places in c-vegas, but the last 2 times i was there.... utter filth. We had several spottings of creepy-crawly vermin both ON and NEAR our table. I personally will never go back there(despite how good it is...). I have found a decent alternative -> Chef Lin's. Out near the Kmart on the way to the mall. Its like $10 for a full buffet and i believe that includes crab & sushi.

I'm a huge fan of New China on South Broad. The place has gilded ceilings but no customers. Our theory? Mob front. Great food at great prices, though.

The best chinese restaurant in the are in my own opinion would have to be China Moon. The Moon has the worst decor: crappy pictures of the great wall that were taken probably back in the 60s. Its all you can eat for 5$ for lunch or 8$ for dinner--a few $ cheaper than Chef Lin. Chef Lin is pretty good but it just doesn't convey the Chinese atmosphere to me very well for some reason. New China, which i believe is the one next to BiLo on Broad is quite good for a nice sit down eat especially when you don't feel like gorging yourself at a Chinese trough. Happy China which i believe is next to WIn Dixie i think is the only chinese place in Chatt that I can't stand. The quality is sub par and I got sort of High one time after eating there, i think one of the cats they used in their food had some cat nip in its system that some how affected me. There is apparently a good China place near us in Ft. O that a few people have recommended to me. That will probably be our next stop. We've decided not to go to Yum Yum's. I'm not sure why but part of me is fearful of the rats. I've only had good times and good food at Yum Yum's and i feel if I see a rat or something it will ruin all those great memories of Yum Yum Good Food.

You people are weak and pathetic. Can't you see Yum-Yum's is a truely authentic chinese dining experience. The minor after effects of ballistic diahrea and halucinagenic fevers are all part of the dining experience; a real chinese resturant.

...and the rats names are Ying and Yang.. they're robots.
