Wifey and I took back the Audiophase jogging cd we bought last week to Best Buy. The name should have been a give away that this product was not build to last. We bought so she could start running more and she finds running with some music helps her be a little more motivated. I asked her after her first run with it how it went, "Good it was great." I asked the pertanent question, "Did it skip?" "A little..." So i tried it out on my first run of a long time the other night and was ticked off (i've been ticked off a lot this week) to find that it barely played an entire song without skipping or completely stopping. So I told her it was going back. SO what did we buy instead??? An mp3 player. It was a lot more but I figure it won't skip and is easier to run with. The only problem is it can be a pain to get the music from CD to mp3 to on the little machine.
The brand is kind of tricky, the emblem on the little thing is so "cool" that it can't be desipherd. But we figured it is iRiver so hopefully they make good things. It also has an FM radio on it which is kinda cool. We got the 128 meg one, alas I couldn't afford an Ipod but I'm kind of against I pods. I'm not one to put much music on mp3, i prefer the cd format and I prefer buying music the legal and old fashion way so 10Gigs of storage wasn't necessary for the likes of me. The reason we, well me, picked the iRiver was because of a 30 $ rebate dropped the price down to 100$. Plus the Cd player we returned dropped it another 40 or so so in essence we only spent 60 bucks or so... sort of. Nomad had one i liked that popped right into the usb port and doubled as a file transferer but it seemed that it could easily break and it had two parts and thats just one more part i need. So We're pretty happy with the purchase overall.... so far knock on lap top. Wifey is putting all her crappy *OW* I mean cool country music on it right now.... a different folder must be made with better music before I run with it of course. But its our new toy so to speak.
In other news Crabbs and the Wife are coming up this weekend. We don't know what we'll all do, wifey is plannin on making a mean dinner that night other than that I told them they may get dragged to a car dealer or two as we begin our search for a new car... however the search may not last long if we don't get this job at Crei Leike. Welp time to run bed time. Got a big test at work tomorrow. Hope i slam dunk it. adios
