Red Sox second straight walk-off win...
This is Orlando Cabrera last night. He just hit a walk-off home run in the 12th to beat Baltimore. They picked up a game on the Yankees, who lost to Toronto.
The night before, Mark Bellhorn (who has struck out more times in a single season than any other Red Sox player in history) drove in the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the ninth against Baltimore.
Tonight, Derek Lowe pitches against Baltimore. Derek has had a horrible year, and is probably due for a win.
...Thus begins my incessant end-of-the-year reporting of all things Red Sox.

And I’m REALLY looking forward to this weekend’s series. Although I think it’s vital that Lowe step it up tonight. They’re going to need all the momentum they can muster with NY coming to town. What are your thoughts? I'll hang up and listen.

I was just as excited last night when Cabrera hit the homer, but by the 12th I was too tired for the same celebration. Bill, I've already been to 3 Yanks vs. Sox games this season (among others) and it's always amazing. Have you registered for the post season ticket lottery? Do it, even if you can't go....I'll go for you! ...or you can make $1,200+ reselling them on ebay.
