Entitlements

Every day is a new day, and all I'm entitled to is as much as I'm willing to work, love, give, care, and encourage.

I just reached this place, too, but my epiphany was that every day I wake up, I make a choice as to how to live my life. Quite liberating, actually.

And the black man who lives next door to me and works for Food Services at UTC is entitled to the same utopian vision that white Americans take for granted. I'm sure that if he would just work harder and fall in line with the barbaric Darwinian order of things, he could overcome the handicap of his melanin-enhanced flesh and be a productive Arab-hating citizen, complete with Range Rover and Merril-Lynch account. I agree with you; I wish those darkies would just get off their asses and work!
