"You can move your tassels from right to left, which is
what I hope happened to your politics over the past 4 years."
-Stephen Trachtenberg, President of George Washington University,
to his graduating class
Do you ever just wanna jab a number two pencil in your eye?!!?
No, but it sounds like Stephen Trachtenberg could use a brain thrust into his skull...
Posted by: ron at May 28, 2004 06:45 PMI am sure you have heard this quote but it seems appropriate to restate for your post. I
Hope you like it as much as I do.
Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has not heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains.-- Sir Winston Churchill
Posted by: gid at May 29, 2004 09:58 AMIf the positions of the words "right" and "left" were switched in Dr. Trachtenberg's sentence, would your claim that bias is at play be just as adamant?
If you're claiming that there is a conspiracy among university professors to corrupt our youth into believing that social issues are important, your rhetoric is just as biased as you and Chuck claim liberal rhetoric is.

I wish I had as much time to write on my blog as you do.
