Driving Around Like A Damned Fool

Question: Was there ever a time in your life when you just spent all your free time driving around listening to music with friends and stopping at the 7-11 for junk food...
...like I did?

...And wasn't it great?

Sometimes I wish I could still drive around aimlessly like I did when I was in highschool, but, as it turns out, it's just not as fun as it used to be.

Uh, yeah, Bill. In fact, my friends and I used to ride around Chatt giving the locals a dose of our infamous "treble party." We would crank some really great [read that obnoxious] piece of music as loud as it could go, then drop out all the bass. Then we'd hit Greyfriar's for some coffee before hittin' the beat again. If the treble sound wasn't that great, we'd opt for pulling next to fancy cars with windows down, blasting the 'Aladdin' soundtrack, while Josh and Kevin would perform the lover's duo, "A Whole New World." Does that count?

Man, that's true. One really could make a night out of just driving around aimlessly. No plans? No destination? Didn't matter, because you were just having fun with your friends... a lot less complicated back then.
