Vacations are fun!

Melissa and I have travelled a lot lately, this past weekend spending a night at Caney Creek Village in Tellico Plains. We split a room with our friends Jenni and Pat Miles, and had a swell time mountainbiking (we now BOTH have new bikes), swimming, eating, and sightseeing.

Down the road, there is a spot in the Cherokee National Forest called Indian Boundary, which is amazing. Basically a big lake surrounded by breathtaking mountains, Indian Boundary has tons of places for camping and grilling, beaches for swimming, and a cool 3.5-mile bike trail surrounding it. The weather could not have been topped, and we took some pictures that I'll try to post soon. It's about 80 minutes from Chattanooga, and WELL worth the trip. $10 to camp or $3 to bike.

All in all, getting a new mountainbike and spending time outside brings me back to when I was younger when ALL I DID was do stuff outside. I am wanting to do more of it, and will biking like crazy for the forseeable future.
