Must Be a Country Song

Every time I've mentioned that I'm going to Arizona, someone says to me, "there is no Arizona." The first time someone said it, I thought they were crazy. I was trying to think of something devastatingly clever to say in response to such a strange theory. Then I realized several people held such a theory until finally it dawned on me yesterday: it must be a song. Sure enough.
Anyway, I'm jetting off to Arizona Thursday...where it's supposed to be cold and rainy. That's right. Cold and rainy. In Arizona. That's the kind of effect I have on places.

Heheh, that is funny. I said that to one of the girls in the Hockley church a couple weeks ago and she just looked at me really weird and said, "I didn't get that."
oh well...

Have a safe trip!

Christin, I've been listening to Mariners spring training games on the radio, and apparently in Mesa they broke the record today for the hottest March 30th ever. Whoever told you it's cold and rainy musta been born in the dump. Sheesh.

Yeah, it was weather.com. The bums. I'll be in Phoenix and Prescott, where they say it will be in the mid 30's at night.

Have a great trip! I've spent some time in Flagstaff and thought it was a fantastic place!

See, there is no Arizona! If it's cold and rainy you must have gone to Washington State or Oregon...
