If you could have plastic surgery (regardless of cost), would you have some work done?
Posted by christin at March 26, 2004 02:15 PM | TrackBackno. I've learned my lesson.
my right eye is blind (since birth, if not earlier), and it wanders to the outside. my parents always told me we could get it corrected if we wanted, and I never cared, until I hit a streak of vanity in highschool. so I went under the knife, not to restore the sight, but to make it appear normal...not (sorta) cross-eyed. I'll spare you details, but it was a terrible experience. at least it was cheap (insurance covered it for some reason).
it looked straight for about a month. but then it went back to where it has always been. and I took that as a sign. vanity is exactly that: vain. (disclaimer: plastic surgery and such for burn victims, etc doesn't fall under the "vanity" category).
Posted by: bobw at March 26, 2004 03:10 PMYeah, I'm really unhappy with my hips, they look puffy.
Posted by: Aman at March 26, 2004 06:36 PMNah, I'm too afraid of anything even remotely painful.
Posted by: Rus at March 26, 2004 08:32 PMWhat about you, Christin? How would you respond to your own query?
Posted by: Rus at March 28, 2004 04:17 PMOh, yeah, you betcha! The nose would go first and after that? Hmmmmmmmmm....it'd be hard to decide.
Posted by: Lisa at March 29, 2004 09:08 AMI would probably have a little something done...nothing major.
Posted by: Christin at March 29, 2004 10:05 AMi would do it if they guaranteed i'd come out looking like brad pitt. so no, i wouldn't do it.
Posted by: dp at March 29, 2004 08:36 PMNo.
