August 14: Massive power failure in the northeastern United States and southeastern Canada. August 17: Lights out in the greater Monroe metroplex. August 28: Power outages in London.
Do you think this is a coincidence? I mean, seriously...New York, Toronto, London, AND Monroe? Something's going on.
Posted by christin at August 29, 2003 09:37 AM | TrackBackMy lights went out yesterday! Wow! We're all gonna DIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE, man! Ok. Just messing around. My lights really did go out, though.
Posted by: ron at August 29, 2003 09:53 AMCall me a freak if I'm looking too much into all the "outages" if thats what you want to call them, but when the power goes out so does secruity systems, detection devices, chemical detectors in public waters systems, etc. Catch my point folks. Maybe these outages are a means to our untimely end.
I don't really believe that but it does make me wonder a bit.
Posted by: svenska at August 29, 2003 10:06 AMespecially with stambler's predictions out there...i mean, i'm afraid for my life!!!
Posted by: Uncle Josh at August 29, 2003 10:27 AMJosh. Dude. I didn't even consider the Stambler factor. Now I'm really freaked out.
Posted by: Christin at August 29, 2003 10:30 AMOddly enough I was thinking the same thing yesterday when suddenly our own power flickered off for a few moments... this is in Northern Georgia, US
Posted by: mkrueger at August 29, 2003 04:55 PMI don't normally go for any kind of conspiracy theories. It's just not something I think much about. But I have to admit, when I read about the London outage I wondered if there was more going on here than we might realize.
Posted by: Rus at August 29, 2003 05:54 PMOkay, this is just getting too wierd. I keep hearing more stories of people around the country losing power. Something's going down.
Posted by: Christin at August 30, 2003 02:19 PMMaybe it happens all the time and no one has ever bothered to report it... sort of like how the media grabs onto a particular idea, concept or crime and then reports every single instance of an occurence.
Posted by: mkrueger at August 30, 2003 03:44 PMFolks, our electricity operates on a grid. I don't believer there is any conspiracy afoot, and if there were, what could we do about it? Get a water filter and some non-perishable foods and keep on trucking folks. This from a reformed Y2Ker.
Posted by: SonofThunder at September 3, 2003 08:27 AMit is nothing except secret government projects for "stuff" and by stuff i mean """stuff"""...............
well.. actually remeber the movie the core, the electricity is sucked up by the earthwauke machine, don't worry we can always fix it :)
What about the power failure in italy now? and
that device that is supposed to create this
big EM pulse.
