The town of Killington, VT voted Tuesday night to secede from Vermont and try to join New Hampshire, despite being 25 miles from the border. They're mad about property taxes in Vermont, and New Hampshire has lower taxes.
I think they should just take a page out of Dade County, GA's book and declare themselves independent of any state. That would be more interesting, anyway.
