I walk in the art building tonight, and a friend of mine, adam, right off the bat says "someone had a good vacation!"
I think its a mixture of relieved stress and emotional/spiritual peace.
I feel like I've learned a valuable lesson: the best way to ease the pangs of jealousy or sadness is to keep moving. by that i mean, do something that you enjoy, something that you've found that makes you happy whenever you do it.
Its important for me to make this an accomplishment or something that is achieved. For me, getting outside and blading has proved time and time again to help me in such a way. Its amazing how a simple physical activity can relieve such stress. I guess I'd consider myself a high strung person in generalized terms. But most of that stress is internal, and definately something I push upon myself.
I try the hardest and the best I can at things and if something isnt working out... I find myself reworking the situation in a positive light. I am a positive person. I can't stand negative people. I simply can't stand to be around them! They aggravate me and piss me off to no end. especially people who use negativity as a means of self pity or to gain attention.
I try to avoid those people if after several attempts to help lighten the mood or their outlook fails to make a difference.
I need to find my soulmate. I'm tired of finding everyone else's.

To be able to just relax in that person's presence..as in, the two of us sitting, relaxing and not feeling the need to always go out and do something. not to be so pressured to be active every single minute of every day. Some moments are best when all is still. At the same time, my person (this person) has to be able to jump up at a moments notice and commit to doing some sort of mutual activity.
Again though, everyone needs moments of patient solitude.
They have to appreciate my need for expression.. an artist's cry of existence.
I must stop here. so many things. I could get lost in my words of description...

I think social buffers are so tedious at times. They are a double edged sword that can bite the hand they feed.

waking up from a dream about one person, but finding yourself lying beside someone else. This whole weekend was great! I was fine, happy and in a pretty good mood. This morning just placed me in a bad mood. just an awful mood. how am I supposed to react to
that.. especially if its not the first dream i've had?
Did you ever see those bottles with two colored liquids, one perhaps blue, the other clear or yellow? Colored water and cooking oil. The two aren't the same, and one will never physically merge with the another..but darnit it looks so cool how the liquids interact with all the little bubbles...I always loved looking at those, and shaking the heck out of them until I couldn't tell one from the other...and no matter what, it would always return..no matter how much or how hard i shook the bottle.
I figure that some things are special in their physical attraction or reactions..while others have their unique oppositions.
Besides, someone wouldn't have put them in a bottle in the first place if nothing special came from it... right?
and no, I'm not givin props to california's new governor.

uuuugh god NEVER eat breakfast if running a mile within that same hour I improved my time, but could have done better if a) i had been feeling better to begin with and b) hadn't eaten before running. but yay! its over and yes!!! i improved ;) I'm definately more of a swimmer than a runner. I've *always* despised running. Though lately, my passion has been blading ;)) I don't know which way is up with this picture over here, but I find it nicely metaphorical.

Pretty stresed out about money. me = farking broke. (what else is new?)
need a job :P
making a pretty cool book for photography for graphic design.. rather stuck on the typography part of it though..my current trend of using a deconstructivist approach to type just wont fit in for my concept for this book. Concept: perseverence. its about this chick who has to be absolutely silent for 6 years to save her brothers who were turned into swans.
its funny how this one guy just doesnt understand what "i dont want a relationship" means. finally just had to stop calling him. too bad, he was a pretty nice guy...but just pretty nice.
