I've been on the subject of dreams lately... Not sure why that is, but I'll just go with it. I mentioned my favorite dreams (flying ones), now I'll mention the ones I like the least. Aside from really scary nightmares, the ones I dislike most are those that seem just like real life. You know... you get up, get dressed, and go to work and do what you do during the day... all night long. When you wake up, shoot, it's time to go do it again, all day long. That is a perfectly good waste of a dream, if you ask me.
Ya don't even get paid fer it, either.
Posted by Shannon at August 5, 2003 10:43 AM | TrackBackYou ever get to the point where you can't tell whether what you're remembering was real life or a dream?
Posted by: mkrueger at August 5, 2003 11:26 AMYeah, it's usually the really boring ones that do that to me. It's like, "Did I have strawberry jelly or cream cheese with that bagel yesterday? Oh wait, that was a dream." I really need to brush up on my lucid dreaming so I don't inadvertanly bore myself to death in a dream.
"Oh...she looks so peaceful... she just passed away in her sleep... that's the way I want to go..." Little do they know it was because I died of boredom.
Posted by: Shannon at August 5, 2003 11:47 AMI always can't wait to dream, because I have the strangest, most exciting and unusual dreams of anyone I know. Like last night I dreamed that I was some criminal guy who was running away from a WICKED looking woman and man, and I got killed in the end...
Posted by: Charisa at August 6, 2003 08:32 PMOmigoodness... I wish you could talk to your Uncle Rodney about me and my real dreams... lol... I dreamed the alarm clock went off... I got up... showered... got dressed for work... woke Rodney up... he got showered and dressed... I had breakfast ready when he got done... and when he started out the door...we both realized it was dark outside... real dark... and the clock told the story... 2:00 a.m... we just went back to bed... fully clothed... and waited for the real alarm to go off... it was so funny... AFTERWARDS... lol...
Posted by: Aunt Vickie at August 7, 2003 08:17 AMMost of my Deja vu experiences are in direct connection to a dream that I would have prior to the incident. This raises a question of whether I dreamed my future or not. The deja vu is usually a decision that I need to make -do I need to run to the bank before I leave town, which route should I take? hum-drum stuff like that, but I always get this really weird felling that I have had been in that exact place thinking that same exact thoughts before. I just can't tell if it was a dream or real life when it happened.
Maybe I'm just really unique in a psychic way.....
idunknow.
i do the same thing jen
Posted by: jessie at August 7, 2003 01:25 PMHave any of you had really weird deja-vu experiences? If you don't mind sharing them, I need to collect some for my RMP (Religious and Moral Philosophy) homework.
Cheers!
