Look Out, Rush!

Al Franken & Co. have decided to enter into the talk radio wars. Air America Radio debuted yesterday . . . on five stations and XM Radio.

If I'm not mistaken, Rush has about 600 stations, Hannity about 200, and Ingraham 200 (not counting newcomers O'Reilly and Snow). It'll take some time to see if there's a market for "liberal" talk radio (even NPR is government funded).

True. And Hannity started on one.

But all went national with, shall we say, many more than five + satellite.

Be that as it may, I'm serious. We'll see what the market says.

They also have a live stream on their website.

It was busy as heck. I would get to listen for 5 minutes before getting knocked off.
