After some careful consideration over the holiday with family (none of whom are of the Anglican persuasion by the way), I will discontinue my series on the Gospel of Inclusion. The North American Anglican "inclusivists" have given the lie to their profession of inclusion and diversity so often, they don't need me to point it out. And really, after eight entries, I believe the point has been made.
But along those same lines, I will turn my attention away from the hemhorraging of ECUSA toward more things Orthodox. I grieve for my dear friends who have to endure the nasty side of their own church and face days of dark uncertainty ahead (though characteristically all of them choose to view the coming storm in light of the positive and the triumph of the true Gospel). They remain ever in my prayers.
While I may from time to time dip back into controversies Anglican, it is my intent to do so from the vantage point of blog-aloguing with friends and e-acquaintances, and not through singular commentary. There are enough resources out there on the web for the interested and the prurient to whet their respective appetites. I sure don't need to foster anything further.
And after all, I need to be more action-oriented and less gum-flapping- (or in this case keyboard-pecking-) oriented.

I was wondering when you were going to come to the conclusion that focus on things ECUSA-related can be detremential to gaining an Orthodox-mindset. I know of a family (you also know them from All Saints) that does not subscribe to a certain magazine near and dear to the parish, because they do not want to continue to wallow in Episcopalian foolishness (they were converts to Orthodoxy from ECUSA two or three years ago).
Even though I left my last (conservative) ECUSA parish at Christmas 2002, and came to All Saints the Sunday after Christmas in 2002, I had continued a limited involvement with a 20s/30s group Bible study from that parish. Our priest had told me when I came to our current parish that I didn't need to drop other denomination Bible studies. But when I recently told him of my decision to disassociate myself from this group, as I needed to focus on more Orthodox things, Fr. admitted to me that he had hoped I would figure that out myself, sooner or later.
