Thoughts on: Shannon, You Get Down From There!

Dreams are my favorite thing in the world. Eric and I were talking about them the other day. It is so wierd what your mind actually thinks when you have no real control over it. So I wonder if we did not put such restraint on our minds during the waking hours, would we be crazy? I know if I thought the way I did in my sleep, I would definently be at least borderline. When I dream of flying, I get a running start too and then just lift up like a plane but fly low. It is fun.

I don't recall having a dream where I am flying. I'm sure I have had lucid dreams...I think. One nned not stare at a mark on his hand in order to practice lucid dreaming. All one needs to remember is:

Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream

I don't recall ever flying in my dreams. I do very often, have reoccuring dreams, almost like reruns on a mini-series and I always pick up where I left off unless I decide to change something then I will go back to that point. Maybe I have control issues?
