Meander

Some new cinematic information:

I just finished the 1st season of 24, a feat which at one point involved me climbing through a window late at night, Jack Bauer style. Season 2 is due out on DVD on September 13.

If you have not yet viewed the 4-disk super size Fellowship of the Ring extravaganza, I highly recommend it. There will be no more complaining about what the movie left out after seeing this exposition.

And though she is not a cinematic note, Moriah Phillips is a very nice person and is now blogging. Go say hi.

Man, I totally agree with you about the extended version of the film. I love how they milked the early scenes in Hobbiton, which made the Hobbits more endearing (like the books). The extended version made it a bareable film, imo.

Man, you should have gotten Moriah on Chattablogs. Yes, I'm a shameless evangelist...

Finally, Micah. You've made the move. Thank you. I was getting starry eyed and strongly discontent with blogger.

Season 2 of 24 is great. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I got my TV fix with that and American Idol last season (they came on back to back).

I'm DYING to watch the second season. We (and by "we" I mean Emily) have the first half of it downloaded and ready to go, but we can't start watching it til we have the second half. How anyone can watch the season on TV with a week between the episodes blows my mind. When I was watching the first season, I did nothing but work and watch 24...ans sleep a very little bit.

Go ahead and give it back so we can watch it now. After just four episodes I'm hooked.
