The same school that I mentioned below interrupted a class party in 3rd grade. The students had sold the most raffle tickets, thereby winning an afternoon with ice cream and a movie, which happened to be The Little Mermaid. The principle walked in after Ariel's first song and removed the video from the player, explaining that this movie was inappropriate for viewing because the mermaid did not have on enough clothes.
Later on that year, during a particularly rainy January, the class was shown every single one of the Ernest movies when it was too wet to go outside for P.E.
