On a current project I am working on, I have a need for cross-browser drop-down menu's. I've searched for css only solutions, thinking that it would be a better implementation if I were to make heirarchical lists into menus & submenus. That didn't work. I've tried several other solutions (including very large javascript solutions). But by the time I had them retrofitted to fit my needs, they stopped working. To make matters worse, the page where the menu goes is center aligned, which means I can't just use absolute position to anchor them down where I need them to go. I tried writing one from scratch, which worked very well in firefox/safari, but was total crap in IE.
Anyone want to take a stab at telling me what I can do to get one of these menu's cross-browser compatable?
