While Im on the topic of this blog. Would anyone be interested in helping me fix a couple things here? I'd like to shorten the comment exerpt to like 10-15 words (or something shorter than the whole post. I'd like to know why My blog looks normal in IE, but has inadequate spacing issues in firebird (and how i can fix that... Even though I currently have overcompensated so that it looks normal in firebird, but there is ample spacing in IE).

The easiest thing is jut to go into the "Weblog Config" of your blog and then click the "Preferences" link and scroll down until you see the "Number of words in excerpt" and change that to the number of words that you want.
But now I see you said "comment excerpt" and I am thinking that you are talking about the comments on the right side of your blog. If that is what you are talking about then you need to change the code in your main index where it is displaying the comments to something like this:
<$MTCommentBody excerpt_words="10"$>
That should set the comment length to 10 words.
I hope I have answered the question you were actually asking.
Now while we are on the topic of how you blog looks. I just have one suggestion. It is really hard to read the text that I am typing into this comment. The bluish-gray background of the textarea with the gray text makes it really hard to read. Maybe you could make the color of the text something darker to create more contrast. That might make it easier to read. Just a suggestion.
