Inactive Blog

I'm not sure how many people actually read my blog, but now with variation of Josiah's *Comment Meter*, I now have a way to see who actually participates in my blog. So, thanks goes out to Josiah, Huffine, Krueger, and of course Myself for taking the time out of your day to read & participate.

If there's anyone else who happens to frequent my blog but NEVER comments (I know of at least one person), you should at least stop by and say hello!

It makes me feel a little wierd also, knowing I'm getting 150+ unique visitors a day, and folks aint leavin' no feedback, then again, of late, I haven't been leaving that much WORTHY of feedback.

Yeah it always sorta weirds me out when I get comments from people I don't know... or find that I'm linked on their list of blogs. People who I've never met or spoken with take time out of their day to read my blog... I'm sure a socialogist could have a field day with this whole blogging thing. It seems like for all the talk that the internet is causing people to withdraw is invalidated by something like a blog. I feel that I have a much better touch on what is going on in my friends lives because of it.

I read but don't usually comment on your blog, Kyle, as well as many of the other Chattablogs. Mostly I don't comment unless I have some personal antecdote to share relating to the post or feel like I can really add something to the discussion. I would imagine that other "non-commenting readers" feel the same way. Having a blog myself, I also see the side of wanting more comments from these readers.

It doesn't freak me out at all to get a comment from someone I don't know. My original understanding of the blog concept was to write to an unknown audience.
