MT is having a hard time trying to "rebuild" my last post so I'll just write another!
When I drove home for lunch today, I saw a police car in the small parking lot of another bank (where Matt used to work) and wondered if something had happened (robbery, bomb threat, out of control customer, etc.). Later heard that they were robbed. Also, one of our branches over in Monroe had a bomb threat within the past week.
As a banker (especially one that runs a teller window at least twice a week), it's something always in the back of your mind and never brought to the forefront until something like this happens. Of course, I know that we have taken certian security measures and will be protected. And honestly, I'm not afraid of criminals. But still there's that something...that adrenal rush and psychological impacts that affect you. That's what I'm afraid of.

The possiblity of robbery is always there, and though I've been trained on what to do, you just don't know how to handle it until it happens...which it hopefully never will. I heard about that Ruston robbery this morning and it just makes me extra-cautious.
