history with pictures

A Sort of History in Pictures

6th grade, Michael (guitarist in LAD) is in this picture too: what a joy to have enduring friendships. The girl standing behind me was my first real kiss.
Bodie as a puppie, a great dog. Died: just last week
There were some wild times
Then there were my thespian days
My mom and sister (Mose) were always there for me.

While I was a student at UCLA I met and fell in love with two girls
I married one of them.
I think it was her blue eyes that got me
Before I graduated LAD played Westwood Brew Co.
Graduation 2001
Immediately after graduating I went to Houston, Texas for five weeks with the organization Teach For America. This was our first day teaching at Attucks Middle School.
These were my students
For two years I taught English and Reading in Lynwood (read: in the hood) at Hosler Middle School. What an experience that was.

sorry about the size of some of those photos. i know they extend beyond the screen. unfortunately i don't have time to correct the problem, at least not yet.

Yeesh, they weren't kidding when they said you used to wear makeup. My purple hair days (one day, actually) were nothing compared to that!

It is pretty cool, though, to sort of relive memories gone by through photographs.

I really really really really really really hate that picture of me with my cousins. Please, please please please please remove it. You can replace it easily with another one. Just not that one. PLEASE!

And that pic of me with the "blue eyes"...
Ugh. There are a lot to choose from. Why THOSE?

Sweetie,

I think you look great in both those pictures.

As far as I'm concerned, since I met you after I had been accepted into UCLA, I was already a Bruin, and the thrust of the statement was intended to convey the time not so much when I met you or Jasmine but rather the time during which I fell in love.
