congrats

Halo Friendlies Sign with Tooth and Nail Records.

Congratulations to the all-girl, up-and-coming band from O.C.: the Halo Friendlies-- the bassist is a member at Grace Presbyterian Church in Yorba Linda. They signed to Greg Bahnsen's son's record label: Tooth and Nail. I wish the Halo's the best as they quickly approach the "rock star life" that I once longed to live.

Congrats! FYI-Brandon Ebel owns T&N;, not Bahnsen, and Bahnsen is no longer in the music industry.

blake,

Thanks for the info on Dave Bahnsen. I had no idea. when did he give it up? Did he sell? Is he pursuing theology more seriously, following in his father's footsteps?

Well, I think Dave was only invovled with the Rec Co in the Very Very beginnings. Brandon and Dave formed "Davdon" artist mgt. Dave took over Davdon, and Brandon took over "Tooth and Nail" - this all happened 6+ years ago. Recently, Dave sold the business and became a financial planner.
