How far are some nations from Nazi-esque tactics? Not far: Hindus will be required to wear an identity label on their clothing in Islamic Afghanistan to distinguish them from Muslims. Interestingly enough, this week at my school there have been "Islam Awareness" booths up-and-about Bruin Walk; one of their signs read, "teach peace, teach Islam." Who's fooling who?
In Illinois, for the first time in 80 years, the graduates of Washington Community High School were not allowed to have a public prayer during their commencement ceremony. The graduating senior responsible for the prohibition of prayer said that she didn't want her atheist friends to be offended. It appears the "feelings" of atheists are more important than the feelings and faith of Christians.
