Who says the Bible isn't applicable to my life?
"Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful" ~~Proverbs 14:13 NKJV
"But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high." ~~Psalm 69:29
"For I have satiated the wery soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul." ~~Jeremiah (where else?) 31:25
"And when he heard this he was very sorrowful; for he was very rich." ~~ Luke 18:23
"As sorrowful, yet aways rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possesing all things." ~~ II Corinthians 6:10
In all seriousness, are not these verses tremendous testimonies to the infinite mercy and lovingkindness of God? Indeed, after reading these it it difficult to sign my name sincerely yours...sorrowful
