Kevin Skogen's sermon from September 12, 2004
In a Series in Luke
Luke 5:1-11
excerpt: "Brothers and sisters, I don't know what 'net' the Lord will have you leave, or what net you NEED to leave, what holds you back from following the Lord the way you need to. But I do know that disciples, followers of Christ, are in fact, net leavers."
the Barron's study guide for the LSAT
the St. John's Meeting Place menu
most desired dinner so far:
part 1: Marinated olives
2: artichoke lentil soup
3: sauteed mahi mahi + swiss chard, shiitake mushrooms, celery root
4: coffee and chocolate pecan tart
OK, the first part of this post made me think, the second part made me smile, and the third part made me drool. How's St. John's, other than equipped with a fabulous menu?

I like your comment about leaving. Frederick Buechner is one of my favorite writers and he says "Christianity is about leaving."
I bought the Barron's study guide for the GRE but I haven't opened it yet.
