Posted by: klockwork at June 3, 2004 04:42 PMUhm, I think there's a difference between AA and Al-Anon. My understanding is that Al-Anon is for the partners/wives/husbands of alcoholics. Like Ala-Teen is for the kids of alcoholics.

cause i think al-anon was something anne lamott mentions but i think she describes a friend of hers as al-anon, but i really don't know distinctions. why don't they say al-anon-spouse or aa-spouse/partner, etc. this is why i hate abbreviations.
