So I was talking to an old friend of mine, a former piper at covenant, and we were talking about the recent construction at the school up the road from me... Covenant. He told me about the new academic building and new dorm and what not and sure enough I go on covenant's website and there it is.
Why do they want to put another building that hangs off the edge of Lookout Mountain, see the new academic building. The idea of coffee houses I like, especially since I like coffee... good gracious I just hope they get the coffee from an alumnus....
How bad would that be if they didn't? Though I could totally see them serving crappy chartwells coffee.
They've already started on the new dorm next to Maclelan, I thought they were just working on the parking lot but apparently they're going full steam ahead... hopefully they didn't use the same construction company that built the gym...
In general the school seems to change with every year. And every persons's years there seem to be their favorite. You can't turn back the clock, you can't (or shouldn't) live in the past, so you hang onto the memories, cherish them and hope the best for the future.
