Updates.

The Lovely Lamont, reminded me it'd been a while since I blogged in the Free world, so here goes. Work has been going ok, just trying to maintain my steam from last week, though I've found its hard to get "bust it out" weeks back to back. That momentum rarely carries over, especially after a very restless weekend.
The wife and I are going camping this holiday weekend for a night to try out the gear. It should be an adventure for us as she's not a camper and I'm sort of an inexperienced one. I've gone a few times in my life, usually with just the clothes on my back, a sleeping bag, a can o corn, a can o beans, and a few hot dogs. This time we got the goods and also got some smores to livin things up a bit. I got a ridge rest for myself that Crabb dog gave me many moons ago and I bought on Campmor.com a thermarest for wifey. But if she's having back problems I'll give her the ridge rest too as I've never even used it to go camping. I've only used it to sleep in our apartment and house before we had a bed and also i used it as a pillow in the Dublin airport as Roe and I slept off our St. Patty's day stuper.
On an annoying note, my car died the other day at work but I got it jumped and it was no big whoop. Then saturday as we tried to go hit the town, it died again and Obscene Gene push started it by pushing it down the driveway. So it was obvious my car was aching for a new battery. Well we figured maybe get the battery on Sunday or monday, it ended up sunday had no time so we figured monday. Well coming back from Church the wife's car's battery light comes on... now this is an American car and American cars are junk, face it. So we thought little of it as lights go on in her car all the time and nothing ever happens. Well the next day her brake light came on too, which is odd since she didn't have her parking brake on. So a guy at tortilla factory told her to take it to a shop cause it sounded like altinator problems. Well she took it to the our quick oil place on the way home and they told her to go to Auto Zone, auto zone informed her that she didn't have enough battery left to make it home and to go to NTB. So she did and the Ute's and I picked her up. So there we are, home, no cars. So we call up the super Andy Montomery and borrowed his car to go pick up wifey's and a battery for mine. To try to shorten this long and boring story, her car and mine were both fixed to the tune of 300+ doll hairs. It was very annoying and what are the odds both cars have battery problems at the same time?
The wife's into school now and its pretty good since it gives me time to bike without feeling guilty. I went again today and made it farther than last time, which is always my goal. I made it up to the Craven's House via the Guild Trail. I must say that Jason Craven has a pretty old house. I'd never been there before today but it was pretty cool, a good view with some neat statues and what not. I started peddling really fast as the hill to the Craven's house (basically the Craven's driveway) is super steap and i started pedaling as furiously as I could when all of a sudden a popping noise was heard and something flew off my bike. I thought, "Oh great of course something broke!" But it was just a reflector on my pedal and I didn't really care at all.
On a gaming note, Josiah has informed all that I have begun my quest for the four swords on Zelda. The game is ok, a great an most unexpected gift from Roe and Mesh which was more than I deserve. The game is fun, though its basically a super nintendo graphic game on a far superior system. The game play is similar to SNES's zelda if not the same and the plot is a little weird but I'm into it. The game play is different, instead of wandering around the whole world, you're restricted to levels and can go back and forth to each level but can't wander around like the traditional zelda. Its a lot like Super Mario World for SNES. However I do not have a Gameboy so I can't take advantage of some of the little tricks the game has. But its fun nevertheless. I'm trying to beat it quickly so roe can have it, though he might not need it.
