Well the Cards Braves game was not what I was hoping for. We were an inning late due to the mess that is the parking situation down at Turner Field, I can't believe Marta's trains don't go to the stadium its rediculous. Though We wouldn't have taken it anyway. But the game was a rough one, Marquis would have these phenomenal innings followed by crap upon crap innings. So it was a real frusterator. Plus Womack's error and Larry's ball that he lost in the sun were pretty sad. But the time was fun, and I was so happy and excited that the wifey and the Crabbs surprised me with that one.
Here's a pic of the view of Downtown Atlanta
Here's the view from our seats
Here's when JD Drew was up to bat, Though a Brave now, I'm glad he's finally doing as well as he can do. Hopefully the braves won't have him choke or get hurt like he did as a Card every year. Though I did notice he sat out tonight, heh heh heh...
Here's the wife and I, and if you go back to July 13 post you'll notice we wore the same exact outfits to the Cards game in St. Louey, completely by accident. Though this shirt has all three cardinals colors, except white.

And here's the whole gang right before I hung my head and walked out of the stadium...
It was a lot of fun and was so thankful for the wife to be on the surprise ball.
······I got home today and copper missed us dearly and took him outside and played for a while. Now we're trying to get the cat and the dog to like each other, well that is the cat to like the dog. So now they're in the same room with me locked in and we're having a bit of a showdown. Copper is wagging his tail and the cat is being a menace just hissing, though I've taught the cat "any time you hiss at me or my dog you get a smack." So he's learning Hiss = Fresh one. And a clawing equals me barking like a dog at the cat.
······Macon was fun we went to the wedding, which was boring cause i didn't know a soul outside three people. It was almost a high school reunion for wifey's school and so they were all gabby and I was sort of bored, I took the wife's camera and mine and just sort of took some random pictures for the heck of it. I took a dozen of this awesome chandeleer but none of them came out well. This pic of the band was ok,
But the wife's camera might have handled the night better.
······Sunday we went to the inlaws church for the second weekend in a row and I don't but Pastor Jordan's been really hitting it home for me. I must say the past two sermons from him really seem to be pushing the seminary idea. I don't know, I don't think I'm looking too much into it as today's sermon was on 1 Cor 1:17-31. I mean the whole passage as well as the sermon just seemed to emphasize my desire which was cool in a way but still intimidating. But the whole verse of "God chose the foolish things of this world to shame the wise, chose the weak to shame the strong." I mean I'm pretty foolish, and I am about the weakest guy I know so that struck a cord. I joke, but it really just was like, BOOM! As his sermon last week was too. But, still in prayer phase. I talked to Crabby a lot about it and we had a great talk, and as my closest friend he had a lot of insight and was glad to see that I wasn't going because times at the Cig, were tough. As I explained to many people, the rough times at my job the past few weeks did bring to light the desire to go to seminary, but the desire to go there has been in me for quite some time, I'd just been keeping it to myself. But more of that in the next entry.
······I got home, unloaded our car filled with carap, and went to work on dinner, then went to work on the fridge. I got the ice blockage ok'ed but I'm not sure if the water pressure will be good enough for the thing to make any ice so I may need to hirer a plumber to come get me a water line that's a true water line and not a little teeny plastic pipe.
······After I got the fridge squared away I hooked up the video card and it works great. I finally got to play 10 seconds of Iron Storm. Its ok, kind of cheesy shooter game. I still need some more memory and a new hard-drive would be good, but the game runs fine and I'm sure so will all the others that I have. I may finally get to play the Breakthrough for Medal of Honor, my video card broke right before it came out. Then I might get Call of Duty too, that's a pretty fun one. But alas, I need to save my pennies, For starters I have none, and also because Metroid Prime 2's coming out as well as the new Zelda which both look too cool for school.
