As the dog barks in the background I'll try to organize my thoughts in a coherent manner, oh wait, I've never done that. Copper never barks, that is unless he's left alone, which is very annoying. Though it is nice that he doesn't bark while we're around, but trying to get him to sleep in the laundry room is very taxing on my sleep life.
On another note, I came home from work today and played with Copper a bit and sat him down next to me in the living room and got him to take a bit of a nap as I unwound from the boring monday. About 20 minutes later wifey walked in very quietly and came up to the two of us. Some how her stealthy approach freaked Copper out and sent him into the craziest dog fit I've ever seen. He just started insanely barking, jumping, and peeing everywhere. It was kind of scary as he wouldn't stop and seemed a bit crazy. I think he just got scared when she snuck up on him, but man he's wack.
Maybe if post a picture of him sleeping he'll shut up and go to sleep...

Posted by: obscenie genie at June 29, 2004 08:26 AMOne time I threw a blanket over my parents' rat-dog because I thought it would be funny, but when I let him out, he went crazy and ran in circles so fast around the living room that he nearly fell over, while barking the whole time. He didn't pee, but I think that that's what dogs do when they get scared. Kind of like what I do when I get scared... I run around in circles as fast as I can and make this low barking sound and sometimes I pee myself.
