I'm watching the baseball game and hoping for a miracle, the Cubs in the World Series. First they have to beat one of the most annoying teams in Baseball, Thats Right Ben Huffine, the Atlanta Braves. Although you'll get no argument from me that they are one of the best teams and have consistently put up a Champion callibur team year in year out but they have possibly the WORST fans. Fans that don't even bother to show up to a game till the post season. Spoiled, inconsiderate, ungrateful, slobs that don't appreciate good sports team. I'm looking forward to seeing the future of the braves since Ted Turner isn't there anymore stuffing the pockets of the braves players. I'm hoping/betting that the money will disappear in a few years and Atlanta will have to see what every other city has to do to build a good team... actually go to regular season games. The sportsman in me wants the Braves Vs the Yankees--best vs best but the baseball fan in me of course wants Cubs vs Red Sox that would be an amazing story. However looking at this Cubs team i doubt they'll do much. They really lack the calibur players to be able to put the big points up on the board.
Work is blah blah but its there so its fine.
Saw the movie Underworld last night with the Rag Tag Bunch. It was perhaps the funniest movie I've seen since Tommy Boy. I was falling out of my chair laughing it was so rediculously rediculous. The worst Vampire movie since the last one holly wood threw together i guess Blade 2: Blade Back In the Habit.
Actually, you're wrong about Braves fans. They don't even show up during the postseason. Witness last night and the plethora of Cubs fans in the stands. Braves fans are very "ho hum" about postseason baseball.
