"The Office" Season 3 DVD's Out TODAY!
In case you care, Target and Best Buy have differing special edition gift sets. (I think Target's "Nifty Gifty" edition is probably the better version.)
Anyway...
Yes, I am that much of a dork.

In Case You Didn't Know, It's Just Like a Mini Mall
I can't stop watching this. I tracked down an MP3 of the song, which I've burned onto a CD so I can listen to it while driving around and wondering what it would be like to meet Sammy Stephens.
You know what? I could really go for some new furniture.

Video: "The East Ridge Song"
We're just a few tweaks away from having a finished "On The Other Hand" compilation DVD, so I thought I'd post the original video of "The East Ridge Song." While it's rough and rushed, it is BY FAR the most requested bit we ever did. Dan wrote most of the words. I wrote a few of the words and the music.
Now, the fun part...
Ernie Paik and I are planning to re-record the song with bass, drums, violin, electric guitars and a new verse. I'd love to shoot a new video for the new version, but it's taken me three years to complete a DVD of the stuff we already shot, so I'm not holding my breath.

Today's Greatest Video Ever of the Day: "Apache" by Tommy Seebach
On the heels of our discussion about the Incredible Bongo Band's version of "Apache," Mr. Ernie Paik suggested the above video. It is a 1977 clip of "Apache" as performed by the late Danish disco great, Tommy Seebach. He's on the keyboards. And he's awesome.
Thank you, Tommy. May you rest in peace.

NBC's "The Office" 20-Second Promo Contest
NBC and YouTube are taking entries through July 21 for a 20-second promo contest for NBC's "The Office." They provide moving graphics and theme music, you provide the rest. (No footage from the show can be used.) The promo will be shown on NBC in August.
I think I'm going to enter.
