Some thoughts after last night's debate:
1. Bush was better than the first debate. Not great, but better.
2. Kerry about the same, if not a little more "deer in the headlights" on some points, like Bush had been in the first debate.
3. Charles Gibson, moderator: CLEARLY supports Kerry. His demeanor said anything but, "Good Morning America."
4. Times John Kerry said "I have a plan...": 1,785. Times he explained what that plan WAS: 0. "You can go to johnkerry.com and see my plan" is not an answer. Especially if you don't have a computer/Internet access. A candidate for President needs to be able quickly summarize his plan in front of a living, breathing audience. Typical John Kerry response format: Say Bush is wrong. Use a lot of examples, historically, of why Bush is wrong. Reiterate why Bush is wrong in his own words. Explain that his plan is better. Oops, time's up. Can't explain plan.
5. Post-debate pundits: With all of spin going on, ALL of the pundits probably did/could have written their responses to the debate before the debate, regardless of the actual outcome. ESPECIALLY Hillary Clinton on CNN... Good god...
6. Bush needed to be more forceful.
7. I have no idea who's going to win.
Don't worry! It will be very close but Bush is gonna win. And the world will be a little safer again...

its a little sick to watch I plan to skip the next debate to watch a color pattern, it probally will give more real answers.
