Kerry heckler Michael Russell is grabbed and put in a headlock by a Kerry supporter yesterday after Russell shouted out "You said you committed atrocities!"
Despite the fact that Kerry DID say this upon returning from Vietnam, Kerry supporters didn't seem moved by Russell's comments, and shouted him down with chants of "Ke-rry! Ke-rry!"
After Russell was removed, Kerry had this to say:
"I have nothing but the greatest respect for people's right to express their opinion," Kerry said after the outburst. "I might add, it's a terrific tactic of the Bush team. They love to disrupt. They love to interrupt. They don't want America to hear the truth."
Uh huh. Because nobody disrupted the RNC, right?
And protesters weren't put in a CAGE in Boston at the DNC, right?
Man. I hate politics.
