I bought "To Kill A Mockingbird" on DVD a while ago, and never got around to watching it. I'd always seen it on TV or on VHS. The dvd, however, looks utterly fantatstic--especially the opening credits sequence. Crisp, clean, black and white images that REALLY look nice in digital. It's hard to believe that this film was made in the early '60s. Taking into account the other big films of the time, "To Kill A Mockingbird" has a VERY indie feel to it. It just looks different--almost timeless--and the cinematography only adds to what was already a great story.
