Junior is coming to the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta is January.
Anybody wanna go?
This guy is a great guitarist, but he's fickle. I used to help book and run the bands at a restaurant in Louisiana. We gave Junior a generous offer to play. He said sure, but he wanted a covered breezeway from his van to the building and some ridiculous dinner request. (Reminiscent of the classic "bowl of brown M&M;'s in the dressing room rock star thing") I think he was just trying to see how badly we wanted him to come play.
...we said nevermind.
Count me in!

Posted by: PMAN at January 16, 2004 10:03 AMno, man...
i have a birthday party to go to in the evening, and a corporate branding session for the paper in the morning.
Word...just give me a shout when you're down my way.
If anyone you know is interested, send them to The Local this Sat. to see 'Cadillac Jones'. They're good friends getting a lot of buzz locally, and they'll be in Chatt spreading they're unique blend of jazz-funk. Great stuff.
Also, if you're ever running short on content for the paper, I can put you in touch with them. Just let me know.
